Finance and Management Analyst

We are urgently looking for a Finance Analyst with the following skills/abilities: Description follows.

The Finance and Management Analyst provides financial analysis and management support for overhead budget and portfolio of projects. He or she develops routine and ad hoc reports to ensure the regular flow of accurate and relevant financial information. He or she performs financial analyses of an assigned portfolio and develops project and activity budgets. The Finance and Management Analyst participates in improving and maintaining financial management systems and is aware of and adheres to MSH’s policies, procedures, and standards. He or she may be asked to perform detailed analyses in CPM’s support of MSH pharmaceutical procurement projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelors Degree and at least two years of professional experience in financial analysis and management. Project budget management experience and accounting familiarity preferred.
2. Advanced spreadsheet skills required. Familiarity with accounting or business information systems software strongly preferred. Database skills desired. (Microsoft Office applications preferred).
3. Proven ability to assess priorities, handle a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment, and meet competing deadlines with great attention to detail and quality.
4. Proven creative and innovative abilities to analyze issues from different angles.
5. Independently motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
Desire to solve problems and develop tools accordingly.
6. Ability to write clearly and concisely.
7. Familiarity with United States Agency for International Development (USAID) or comparable government regulatory environment highly desirable.
8. English language skills required. French and/or Spanish skills preferred.
9. Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically as required
